That's just peachy!

Grilled Peaches

It is peach season!! Woooohooooo!! My sweetie, Elizabeth, came across this very simple "recipe" (probably on Pinterest, for which I always tease her saying nothing good comes from there...she proved me wrong) and made me try it. I'm sooooo glad I did, these are now one of my favorite dishes. I don't have a fancy name for it so I'll just stick with Grilled Peaches.

Don't blink -- this is going to be a pretty fast and easy description of how to make these things.

First, wash the peaches then slice them in half and remove the pit.

Second, brush each side with melted butter.

Third, place the halves on a medium hot grill face down for about four minutes.

Fourth, turn each peach over and grill on the other side for about four minutes.

Fifth, serve and eat!

Poof, just like that you have a sweet and fairly healthy sweet treat. It isn't a heavy dessert so it was a really nice dessert to have after a BBQ. I love them plain, as shown in the photo, but Elizabeth likes to top them with some cream.

Go ahead and try these, bet you can eat just one!

Bon Appetit!
